A lot of gar roaming the reeds. Tough fishing for Bass in the shallows due to Gar, switched to catfishing on big flats in open water. Okay Catfish bite if you slow down or anchor. No fast drifting for Catfish this weekend.
Watched boats trying for crappie in shallow trees, not a lot of bent rods there.
Many Bass boats pounding along the shores, switching to trees, but still seemed to be coming in empty.
As they say, bad day fishing...
All in all be ready to change it up or go home busted. Conditions changing fast with water levels up.
