Fishing Report
October 30, 2014

The trout action has been very good from Davis Camp and along the casinos, Sunshine Peninsula, and around Rotary Park. There were 20,000 rainbows planted over three weeks in late September and early October, and many anglers have been reporting limits since. Jesse Valdez, 11, Bullhead City, had three rainbows, his first fish ever. While most anglers are focusing on trout, the striper bite remains fair on anchovies or other cut baits. Most are small, under a pound, but Bullhead City striper veteran Del Oden had a 5.62-pounder drifting an anchovy in the Big Bend area. Other species have been slow. Information: Riviera Marina at 928-763-8550.
