Fishing Report
April 17, 2014
The best action in this stretch of the river is still the spotty bite for stripers. The fish being reported are generally pretty good quality. Kelly Taylor, Bullhead City, landed a pair of stripers at the Avi Bridge and they weighed in at 6.42 and 7.30 pounds, both taken on anchovies. In the old community park area of Bullhead, John Morrison, Bullhead City, caught an 11.22-pounder, also on anchovies. Some panfish and largemouth bass action in backwaters and quietier spots along the river. Few other reports. The river flows remain up. Information: Riviera Marina 928-763-8550.
