LAUGHLIN-BULLHEAD AREA: Overall, tough fishing. The trout action is very spotty with the trout spread out along the river. A few are still showing from Davis Camp and the Laughlin Bridge, along the casinos, Sunshine Peninsula, the community park, and around Rotary Park, but the numbers continue to dwindle. The striper bite has been slow but improved a little over the past week with the warmer weather. The best bite has been on anchovies or other cut baits, but a smaller shad-like swimbaits or the bigger trout-like lures are getting some fish. There are also a fair number of catfish showing for anglers, and the cats might be the best bet right now. Information: Riviera Marina at 928-763-8550.
