Trolling is so far the best thing for me at lake jackson. I went trolling on a low speed on my trolling motor around the weeds and cought a nice bass on a yum rubber worm (from my first lucky tacle box) with power bait bass attractent on it.

My cousins live on Lake Jackson so it's a treat to fish out there and once an a while catch a trophy bass. The bass out there like frogs, poppers, jerk baits and salt injected worms. I out fished my cousins, i didn't have a camera with me but believe me they were NICE largemouth bass for a lake thats been drained recently and is slowly rising back up. All the lures worked except for a deep diver, the bass won't hit a deep diving crankbait. For all you fisherman who want to try Lake Jackson fell free to try anything and experiment for yourself.
