wow, you would think we'd have some ice by now...the water temps are in the low 40's again after being in the mid to high 30's a few weeks ago and we had ice in the shallow coves...now there is no sign of ice anywhere! I fished from the shore with little lures and picked off some sunfish and perch...glad i bought a new power auger this year...

it was looking like ice was going to start forming here soon with the bays completely covered in a thin layer throughout most of the day but wow has it turned. it now won't stop raining and the water temp is back up to mid to high 40s. only fishing i've been able to do is from sure and i haven't caught thing!
