 Bates Field and Stream (501-470-1846) said the water is murky and low. Bream are excellent on redworms fished around Pierce Creek. Crappie are biting well on minnows and jigs fished around Gold Creek, Pierce Creek and the Highway 89 Bridge. Bass are fair on shallow-running crankbaits and jigs fished in creek channels. Catfishing is good on yo-yos baited with large minnows and nightcrawlers and hung in cypress trees. 

 Daniel Zajac at Gold Creek Landing (501-607-0590) said crappie are biting well early and late in the day on chartreuse speckled jigs and pink minnows fished 3 to 9 feet deep. Bass are slow. Bream are biting fairly well on redworms fished 4 to 7 feet deep. Catfishing is still good on nightcrawlers and stink bait.

Bates Field and Stream (501-470-1846) said bream are fair on worms and crickets. Crappie are biting very well on minnows and jigs in Gold Creek, Pierce Creek and around the Highway 89 Bridge. Bass are fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits all over the lake.

Bates Field and Stream (501-470-1846) said bream are biting well on worms and crickets fished around 10 feet off the docks at Pierce Creek. Crappie are biting well on minnows and jigs fished 6 to 8 feet deep around the Highway 89 Bridge and the cove in Gold Creek. Bass are fair on spinnerbaits and soft-plastic worms fished around creek channels. Catfishing is good on yo-yos and trotlines hung from trees in 6 to 8 feet of water and baited with minnows.

Daniel Zajac at Gold Creek Landing (501-607-0590) said bass are slow, but a few are biting on soft plastics. Bream are biting fairly well on crickets and redworms. Crappie biting fairly well on jigs and minnows (including pink minnows). Catfishing is good.
