I came home after school and thought that because i didn't have any HW I would go to jorden. So when my dad got home right about 5:30 we packed the canoe up and went fishing with the fly rods. We got their and the water was like glass. we unpacked our canoe and began fishing. Not 5 min after we got on the water is when I got this really nice crappie abou 2 pounds.

Great  day on Lake Jordan! Caught over 130 crappies, and kept 60. Biggest was two 13 inchers.

Remember to layer up for winter fishing, but don't forget your sunglasses too; it will warm up.

Live bait was on fire, we couldn't get anything to bite on fake bait.

Was a tough day overall.  Fish are all over due to the water being very low.  Focus on main lake points with a lipless crank.  Dragging a Crig will also work on road beds!  Wind blown points was another key thing, but during this time the wind was very speratic!
