The Fishing:
Here in Galveston, Texas we catch Trout Redfish and Flounder 365 days a year.
Spring time we focus on wading and drifting shallow flats for trout and reds.
Summer we head to deep water fishing 8-10 ft near shell ,reef fishing from the boat with croaker and plastics.
Fall is a great time when the flounder start to run and is one of galveston best kept secrets. It the one time of year you can catch multiple flounder over 5 lbs. Also the trout and redfish will school up in large numbers.
Winter is Captain Robert Liebert's favorite time of year. There are less people on the water which allows the fish to receive little to no preasure. We will be either wading for a trophy or drifting 5-7 ft of water catching trout and redfish.
Here at Green Water Guide Service we run Haynie boats equipped with the latest safety equipment and fishing gear. The boat has a Garmin GPS/Fish Finder on it as well as a ship to shore radio. This boat ensures that we will have a fun safe day on the water. On these trips all tackle will be provided. With a Haynie we can make long run if nessary to get to the fish. The boat is also a dry boat that allows us to travel across choppy water if the wind picks up durning the day.
Shark and Near Shore fishing is a blast and is a day of pure fight. On these trips we will target Sharks, Kingfish, Ling, Tripple Tail and it is not unheard of to catch a Tarpon. This is a great trip to bring the wife out on or invite your buddy out to see who has what it takes to reel in the big one. Best months are June- September.

Rates per boat
1/2 days are $400, Full days are $500
3 people per boat a fourth can be added for additional $75. All rods, reels and lures will be provided. Live bait can be provided at an additional charge. (Croaker or Shrimp)

We offer a couple different types of trips. The first is our cast and blast trips which are run out of Madagorda. This is an all day trip consisting of a morning duck hunt followed by an afternoon trophy trout trip. On these trips we require a minimum of 3 hunters with a max of 4 per guide. Here we will hunt till around 9 or until we get our limit, then target trophy trout the rest of the day.
Second, is our Teal hunts. This is during early teal season only, and require a min of 3 hunters with a max of 5. Trip is $100.00 per person and usually from daylight till noon or until we get our limit.
Cast and Blast - $200 per person minimum of 3 hunters
Teal Season - $100.00 per person Min of 3 hunters Max or 5 hunters per guide

Here at Green Water Guide Service we offer duck hunts along with our great fishing trips. We hunt from Anahuac to Rockport Texas. Most hunts are coastal hunts over large spreads of decoys. Our average spread is 6-8 dozen, but not uncommon for us to put out as many as 25 dozen to bring them in. On these hunts we will shoot Pintails, Redheads, Widgeon, Gadwalls, Green and Blue wing teal, and many other diver ducks such as Blue Bills, Golden eyes, and Bufflehead.
