The mighty Fraser River in British Columbia is home to the largest fresh water fish in the world, the white sturgeon. This area offers a world class opportunity to fish this magnificent beast whose size and power is truly amazing!
Imagine your excitement as a six or seven foot long sturgeon weighing hundreds of pounds explodes from the water in a desperate attempt to free itself. Imagine the thrill of hearing the prolonged scream as the 130 pound test quickly disappears from the spool with your guide scrambling to release the anchor and give chase.
The Fraser River system is capable of providing this not to be missed sturgeon fishing experience.
Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa is located on the southern shore of Harrison Lake in the Fraser Valley. The rooms are fully outfitted with coffee makers and complimentary coffee/tea, iron and ironing board, plush terry bathrobes, hair dryers, daily maid service, lodgeNet TV with video checkout, and room service from 7 am - 11 pm.
Hotel facilities include: three outdoor and two indoor natural mineral hot springs pools, the Healing Springs Spa (providing massages, body wraps, facials, aesthetics & hydrotherapy), a fitness centre, gift shop, clothing store, games room, two tennis courts, resort marina featuring several options for sports & water activities, beauty salon, golf (3 golf courses from 5 to 20 minutes away), 24-hour front desk Guest Relations Service providing concierge & business service.
Four days guided fishing. Five nights accommodation. Breakfast and lunch. Tackle. 5% tax.
Fly into Vancouver International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Harrison Hotel. Alternately, you can fly into Abbotsford local airport.
6 days/5 nights/4 days fishing. $2095 per person (double occupancy) plus airfare . Rates can change depending on currency exchange rates on day of deposit.
50% of trip cost. May be paid with check, credit card, certified check or money order. A second installment may be required prior to paying the final balance 60 days prior to departure.
We recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover any losses should you have to cancel to due to unforeseen illness or other emergency. Certain restrictions do apply. Premium rates are typically about $65 per $1,000 of coverage, and usually include some benefits for lost baggage, trip interruption, and emergency evacuation.
