Western Ramganga Tour: An expedition geared for the fly angler, along with fly fishing guide Misty Dhillon with some of his distinctive fly-fishing techniques for the Himalayan Mahseer. The expedition aims at getting the anglers to the finest sections of river, at the best times of the year. The trip is the Himalayan Outback's top of the line, great value fly-fishing adventure few fishing expeditions in the world can match.
Within the perfect setting of the Grand Himalayas on some of the most pristine and remote sections of rivers in India, this expedition aims to challenge fly fishers of all expertise levels, using unique patterns and techniques. The expedition is a combination of mild treks to virgin territory considered the best waters for fly-fishing for the Mighty Mahseer. This trip is easily the fly-fishing adventure of a lifetime.
Saryu River Tour: Alternatively, enjoy a 10-day float trip through north India's Kumaon region, traversing the borders of India and Nepal, while floating down the migratory gateway of north India's Mahseer fishery. This trip runs through remote parts of India offering opportunities to meet with rural farmers and villagers. It also offers a change to truly experience Indian culture at it's best. Transfers from New Delhi are made by train and land transfer. Accommodations are comfortable tents with cots.
Although this trip is geared towards fly anglers, it is also suitable for conventional anglers.
Accommodations are local style huts containing fine British Campaign furniture: bed, table, chairs, cupboard and luggage rack. Each hut has a private verandah, sitting area and private bathroom with running water. A smaller camp can be set up by the river for anglers wanting a more rustic experience.
We have two options to choose from in New Delhi: 1) A New Delhi hotel 2) A New Delhi Home-Stay with a local family (for those seeking a more authentic Indian experience). A clean, comfortable and elegant home with four guest rooms, each with private bathroom, AC and heating, satellite TV, mini-fridge and electronic safe. Each room opens to an outdoor sitting area. Dinner is cooked by house staff.
Transfers between New Delhi and camp. Accommodation in New Delhi. All meals and beverages. All tackle. One fishing guide per angler. All fishing permits and taxes. All local transfers. Seven days guided fishing and seven nights accommodation at camp.
Fly to New Delhi, India. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel (please inquire for confirmation) or a New Delhi Indian Home-Stay. Dinner is provided at the Home-Stay. The next morning you will be met and transferred to the Himalayan Outback Camp (land transfer is about seven hours).

50% deposit per person. Bookings are not confirmed until deposits are received. Final payments are typically due 60 days prior to departure.
