You will also have an opportunity to catch 3 species of Peacock Bass with an average of 30 fish per day per boat, including both Royal (barred) and Speckled (Paca) Peacock Bass weighing 25+ pounds and the smaller Butterfly species weighing up to 12+ lbs. Looking at the IGFA record book, you will see that most of the existing World Record Peacock Bass have come from Brazil’s black water Rio Negro River systems and there is where you will hook up with trophies.

In the last day of your cruising in the Rio Negro, the crew will prepare all the necessary for you to leave back home safely. Our staff will assist you on the charter flight back to Manaus, on the accommodations and or extra days in town, and finally to VIP lounge at the airport after your check in is done. Captain Peacock Yachts & Expeditions operates the 95 ft. Captain Logan yacht, which is the most luxurious mother boat for any Peacock Bass fishing operation in Brazil’s Amazon.
Capt. Logan is a 95-foot luxury yacht accommodating up to 12 anglers per expedition (or up to 14 in one cabin for 4 anglers), guest lodging includes 06 (six) fully equipped double occupancy suites with large bunk beds.
Each cabin has a spacious private bathroom and its own independent air-conditioned system as well as hot water. Every room on the boat has an internal height of 6-1/2 to 7 feet, so all but the very tallest costumer won’t have to stoop.
Capt. Peacock is loaded to the gills with advanced navigation equipment and various shipboard amenities. These include satellite phone service (U$5 per minute), satellite internet service (U$5 per MB), Radar and Sonar digital equipment, pressurized drinking water reservoir, full laundry and maid service, full emergency gear and top first aid supplies, onboard DVD home theater system, satellite TV, and a lot more. The eloquent and spacious restaurant features delicious regional and international cuisine at every meal, while the cocktail area offers an open bar with Brazilian and international drink, premium liquors, and great red and white top wine selections (all-inclusive).
