The Fishing:
Davey’s Locker offers daily departures You do not need to be an experienced fisherman to successfully catch fish. With experienced crew always nearby, any questions or help with rigging is immediately taken care of. Trips catching hundreds of fish are quite common and trophy sized fish from several species are available year round. Some species of fish that we encounter include halibut to 40 pounds, yellowtail to 35 pounds, sand bass and calico bass to 10 pounds, barracuda to 10 pounds, bonito to 15 pounds, tuna of all types to 60 pounds, red snapper to 10 pounds, giant sheephead to 25 pounds, and dozens of other species. Fish cleaning services are available onboard for a small fee and catch and release is also an option for those not wanting to take fish.
From novice to the experienced angler, Davey’s Locker is THE fishing destination for you. Davey’s Locker Sportfishing offers fishing trips open to individuals, families, and all size groups. Trip lengths vary from our popular ½ day (5 hour excursions) and ¾ day (full day excursions) to overnight trips and longer. Davey’s Locker provides everything you need to make your trip a great fishing experience. Our Captains and crews provide years of fishing experience that is invaluable in helping to make each fishing outing relaxing and successful.
Davey’s Locker also does carry Department of Fish & Game Fishing Licenses- anyone 16 years of age and older does need to purchase at least a 1-Day fishing license in order to fish in the State of California- 1-Day fishing license is $16.00.
