French angler Daniel Lopuszanski currently holds the men’s 16-pound line class record for tarpon with a 202-pound, 13-ounce fish, but he may have recently bested his own record. Fishing out of Pointe Noire, Congo on April 4 with local guide Maurice Gregoire, Lopuszanski landed a massive 231-pound 14-ounce silver king. Lopuszanski was using a live baitfish and needed an hour to land this potential new record.
