Aug 11, 2012 Lake Guntersville Report – Rob and Reed Noyes returning clients and Great Friends joined me today for a day on the lake.  Faced with high water first thing this morning we picked up the Assassinator Buzzbaits and Reed went to work putting the first fish in the boat.  That was followed by several fish on Tomahawk Worms from Missile baits and by 11am, the water had started to drop so you guessed it we picked the SPRO Frogs with good results.  Although most of the fish today, where in the 1-2.5 pound range, we managed to boat a couple 3-4 pound fish and the guys had a lot of fun.  Water temperatures have dropped a little to 82 to 84 degrees.  Fishing is good to great if you know where to find them.  I have days and guides available. I’m also booking the fall months already; make your reservations now for some great ledge and frog action on Guntersville or fall smallmouth fishing on Tim’s Ford.
