The Jitterbug, without a doubt, is the number one nighttime, topwater fishing lure of all time. On a steady retrieve, its concave lip creates a "plop-plop" sound while its body has a side to side action that fish cannot resist. It catches all types of surface striking gamefish from bass to musky in all types of water. This was a very good bait with a good action and wobble. The color schemes are always great the best go to top water I own. Its the best of its kind no others compete at the level the jitterbug does from the first one until today

Amazing. On the first cast near a weed need I landed a 5 pound large mouth in upstate NY. I consider this lure to be the middle player between the popper and the walk the dog lures. When you need a fish it is definitely the go to bait. I suggest that they make it a bit heavier in order to get lengthier cats and this will also allow us to keep the lee in the strike zone longer.

I haven't had much luck with jitterbugs. I heard early morning is a good time to use them but i tried all day and at sunset and not a single bite. plus if the water isn't glassy i don't think u will catch a fish because it's a more subtle quite top water.
