This report is for June 4th and 5th on the TN River-Wilson Lake, Alabama. I fished both days with two great guys out to have a good time and get there line stretched by some Tennesse River largemouth and smallmouth bass. We had a blast both days landing several quality bass the first day and absolutely crushed them the next. A lot of the fish we caught were in the 2 to 3lb range and a few up in the 4 to 5 plus lb range. Wilson Lake fishing has been wide open the last few weeks! We have been catching a lot of fish from medium depth out to 15 to 18 feet of  water. Now is a great time to be on the TN River Lakes. Wilson Lake surface temp is around 77 degrees. Good bait choices include swimbaits, crankbaits, shakyheads and jigs. Wilson Lake in North Alabama is well worth checking out, while giving you the chance to catch a giant smallmouth, or largemouth bass on any given cast. This report is for April 30th on the TN River-Wilson Lake, Alabama. I helped with a bass fishing guide trip for DoubleHead Resort out of Town Creek. Allthough the weather limited our fishing areas with the wind out of the Northwest, and gust up to thirty miles per hour, we were able to boat a few nice largemouth with our best one around 4lbs. Wilson Lake fishing has been wide open the last few weeks with the exception of a few post cold front days to slow down the bite. We have been catching a lot of fish from shallow water out to around 12 feet. Now is a great time to be on the TN River Lakes. Wilson Lake surface temp is around 68 degrees. Good bait choices include spinner baits, flukes, swimbaits, buzzbaits, crankbaits, shakyheads and jigs. Wilson Lake in North Alabama is well worth checking out, while giving you the chance to catch a giant smallmouth, or largemouth bass on any given cast.  This report is for March 29th on the TN River-Wilson Lake, Alabama. I spent the day with my son fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass. The smallmouth were not cooperating so we changed gears and went down the lake using jigs and shakyheads and caught a few nice largemouth. Wilson Lake fishing has been wide open the last few weeks with the exception of a few post cold front days to slow down the bite. We have been catching fish from the tailrace, points, bluffs, ditches and up shallow too. Now is a great time to be on the TN River Lakes. Wilson surface temp is around 57 degrees and should warm up even more the next few days. Good bait choices include spinner baits, flukes, swimbaits, crankbaits, and jigs. The topwater bite is starting and will get better with the warm up coming! We have been catching a lot of fat pre spawn bass, and the next few weeks should be very good for fishing!. Wilson Lake in North Alabama is well worth checking out, while giving you the chance to catch a giant smallmouth, or largemouth bass on any given cast.
