Right now we have windy conditions stirring up the water. We are catching Reds, Sea Trout, Jacks, and Lady Fish. Also a few snook are being caught in the Ft. Pierce area with the best bite at night on bucktails. But most of the snook caught are over slot size.

Reds, Sea Trout, Jacks, and Lady Fish are being caught with live shrimp and small jigs with natural colors like DOA's and Gulps.

Beach Bite: Pompano bite is excellent on cut clam. Also sharks and a random bonefish are also being caught on clams.

water temp is 68 degrees and mostly clear.

Trout bite has been excelent! We have seen a few reds in the area in small schools. We are using finger mullets and shrimp to catch these guys. Best bite is in Mid-day. We have also caught a number of juvenile snook in the 24 inch range and a few pompano too.

Redfish and snook bite is good on  the outgoing tide. Finger mullet is what they are targeting along with hand picked shrimp.

Snook can also be caught in the islands and channel edges.

The rains have stopped so the water salinity is rising which is turning the fish on.

The Sebastian inlet has been quiet, but been getting some redfish and trout. Around the spoil island area and the flats are fishing well too. There has been sightings of some tarpon in the morning around the flats, along with some decent snook. Feel free to fish the docks and twoard the harbor because those spots are hot. The fish are biting on live shrimp, gold spoon, and mahara which is helping some fisherman.

Fishing is going well lately. The mullet run has started, and there has been flat conditions. The cobia are biting on greenies, and the permit action has been steady. There was actually a shark bite in waist deep water the other day which is terrible. The trout and redfish are near the flats and the islands and are biting on gulps, doa shads and live shrimp. The snook fishing could be better, they're just not consistent. Water temp is around 80-82 degrees.

The past few weeks have been up and down simply because of the weather. The weather has made it difficult. There has been Dolphins and Kingfish that are biting trolled rigged ballyhooed and live bait. Today marks the day that Grouper season opens so hopefully will have an update next week on the groupers. Been going out around 100-300 ft for the Dolphin and Kingfish and best time to go is always in the morning before the winds and weather pick up. Clarity hasn't been good and the water ranges frm 72-74 degrees.

Things have been picking up lately. We have been going in the morning, but with the weather heating up, we have been able to go out in the afternoon also as the water warms too. Been having success with Trout, Redfish, and some Snook as well. The fish have been biting at our live shrimp and gold spoons. The water clarity has been pretty good, but at times it gets murky from the wind.

The windy conditions have pretty much blown the pompano fishing but reds, trout, and snook are being caught by experienced anglers. Try working the points when fishing here. Use live shrimp for the redfish, cagen rattles for the trout, and bucktail or live shrimp for the snook.  Most of the snook are being found close to the Sebastian Inlet.  Try fishing in the morning before the wind picks up.

The redfish, black drum, and sheephead , bite is doing really good right now. Because of the cooler weather, in the early morning the fish are swimming in deeper water. 3-5 ft deep and they are staying close to structures.  Once noon comes around and the day warms up a bit. Most of the fish then move on to the flats.

Live Shrimp is the way to go for both the am and pm fishing hours.  Live shrimp under a popping kork is working well in the flats. Cut the shrimp into pieces for the sheepshead and black drum you will catch more fish that way.

Fishing has slowed down considerably since the cold front came in. Trout and reds are being caught on live shrimp and gulps on jigheads.  Once the winds drop and the weather warms up in the next couple of days. We expect the fishing to get dramatically better.

We are catching slot size trout and redfish.  We also caught 2 flounders back to back averaging 8-9lbs each.  We are using live shrimp with a circle hook in a split shot. All of our charters are going out in the morning and coming back with catches.

The redfish and trout bite has remained consistent with charters going out on half day trips catching 20 plus fish on both species. Mangrove snapper bite is good along the  edges of the channel.  The snook are on the shy side and flounders are being caught in the areas adjecent to the tidal pools.  Shrimp tip jigs seem to be the name of the game. So try to fish 2 hours prior to the incoming tide for best results.
