Nov 11, 2014 – Tim’s Ford Fishing Report – First and foremost, to all those who served prior to, with and after myself it is my honor to say Thank You for protecting our way of life.  What a week, when I was not on Guntersville, we were on Tim’s Ford catching some really nice Smallmouth.  Each day produced a mixed bag of Smallmouth and Largemouth. We focused on main lake points and the front one third of the pockets.  Our best results came spot removers rigged with small worms, sped craws and grubs; we also caught fish on Tightline Mussel Crawler Jigs and DT 16 Rapala Crankbaits.  Water temperatures ranged from 61-63 degrees.  Now is the time to make your reservations for some exciting winter fishing on Tim’s Ford and Guntersville! I have days available throughout the winter with full time Professional USCG Licensed/Insured guides. As always, we supply all fishing gear including Duckett Rods, LEW’s Reels, lures, and drinking water at no additional cost you, Military Discount and the dedication to making your trip successful.  “Let’s go fish’ in”

Fished our club fish off on Tim's today. started a little slow and then we found the pattern and a great spot. went to a place I haven't fished for several years and my partner had never. caught a mixed bag of Largemouth spots and smallmouth. ended up with 2 keeper largies and 2 spots. eased out the creek and caught another spot. made a move and culled a spot with a spot and then my partner caught a 3.85. everything came off a booyah jig in green pumpkin with a crawfish trailer. ended up winning with 10.25 and won big fish with the 3.85
