Stick Marsh 13, FL Fishing Report

This cold weather has really truned on the crappie. They are picking them up on minnows and jigs. Big blue gills are being caught on crickets. The Bass are biting good on junebug and red shad worms and dont be afraid to use Dom shiners they are working too.

By the back spillway blue gills and crappie are being caught on minnows and worms.

By the standing timber and nursery area. Bass are beign caught with shiners and spinner baits.

Catching Crappie in the open water. Use green or black jigs with minnows on them. Water is in the low 60's and the fishing is consitent all day.

Crappie are being caught by trolling with jigs tipped with minnows by the underground cannals in the stick marsh. Shell crackers are being caught in the spillways and they are using frozen shrimp or redworms for them.

Bass- Use rat-l-traps, buzz baits and live shiners. These fish are being found by the standing timber.

Sebastian River_ Sheepsheads, black drums are being caught. Off the islansds and flats redfish, trout, and some pompano are being caught.

Inlet- Spanish Mackerel, blues, and some flounder are being caught. Best time to fish is in the early am and late pm or afternoon. Use live or frozen shrimp/clam.

We been picking up nice size bass around the back spillway and In the standing timber. We are using Dom Shiners and rattle traps. The blue Gills have been biting around the spillway on crickets and worms. The pumping station has been holding Crappies and we are using jigs tip with minnows.

The Crappie are being picked upat the pumping station on minnows. Bule gills are being caught around the spillways on cricket or red worms. Bass are being caught one dom shiners or june bug with bule tail around the standing timbers.

Fishing is tough right now. Some bass are being caught with dark baits. Still the winds from the huricane are picking up to 40 mile an hour gusts.

The blue gills are biting good on crickets and red worms. Fish around the spillways. There are some crappies to be caught if you remember to look in the drop offs around the pumping station with a jig tip with a minnow is the key.

The water is move which make the fish bite good. Fish the spill ways and pumpng station to pick up the greater amount of blue gills, basss, and catfish. The fish are biting on Dom Shiners, worm, crickets and minnows.

The spillways are a flowing and the fish are stacking up. You can pick up just about anything around them. Shiners for bass , minnows for crappies, crickets and worms for bluegills and other Pan fish. Cut mullet and dead shrimp is good for some nice old catfish.

The pan fish are bite off the wall on crickets and worms! Nice catfish are being caught around spillways on nightcrawler and frozen shrimp. Some nice Bass on junebug with blue tail worms and Dom shiners around the spillways and around the standing tember.

-       Lots of bass

-       Big trouts in the river

-       Redfish have not come fully in yet

-       Biting on shrimp and live finger mullet

-       If you’re on the flats and use mullet, you should do well.

-       Water temp is around 76-85 depending on where you are.

-       Bluegills biting on crickets and redworms.

-       Bass are biting on shiners.

-       Best in early morning or late afternoon.

When been doing alot of blue gill and shellcracker fishing. The umping station and spillways been hold them good. Live crickets and Red worms bet bait. the bass are hanging out in the standing timbers and the south shoreline in the farm13 live shiners and rattle traps.

The bluegills have been on the beds and are biting on crickets and worms. You can find the bass on the back end of farm 13 and they are biting on spinner baits.

Pan fish bite is on worms and crickets are the best bait! You can still pickup some crappies around the pumping station and spilways on minnows and jigs. Catfish are hitting good around spillways. THe Bass bite has been real good around the standing tember and back spillway. Shiners ,rattle traps, junebug with blue tail worm is working best.

In the Stickmarsh bluegills and crappie are being caught with minnows and crickets.
