Striped bass bite is very good. Work the Marin islands, Red Rock and the Marin shoreline. A lot are small, but 40% are legal. Work the top of the tide. Drift other times at Brothers. Worm-tailed jigs work well. Halibut bit is fair, at best. Salmon at California City is turning on and off. (415) 456-0321

There is some salmon action at California City. A few fish were caught over the weekend. Wind kicked up Tuesday. Striped bass are plentiful in both the main bay and San Pablo Bay. Troll the Marin shoreline or drift the usual spots with live bait. (415) 456-0321
