Its a great lake to fish but you just have to find them. Ive had my best luck fishing boatdocks and weed beds close to the bank. The biggest fish I have caught was a five pound largemouth bass. The biggest bass ive seen anybody catch was my Granddad. His was about 7 1/2 pounds and it was in the early morning. He caught it with a white spinnerbait. My biggest one came on a plastic worm. The worm I was using was the Gary Yamamota Custom Bait Black 5" Yamasenko. Me and my family have had a very good fishing year this year using this worm. This was our first year trying it and it was amazing. The best lures I recommend are Spinnerbaits, Chatterbaits, and Plastic Worms. Thanks for reading Hope you guys have luck on the water!

using a watermelon red, brush hog, I caught a 4 to 5 pound large mouth bass. The bass was caught around 7pm off lock 4 road not far from cambridge dr. I was fishing in about 3 feet of water. I noticed the bass were hitting shinners on top, so I was really surprised with the catch, the fat female gave me a good minute of fun. MY best catch of the year thus far. Try constant movement, flipping it once then letting it hit the bottom, repeat this technique, make the bait act wounded. thats how I caught my Betty-Boop.
