There are still some walleye hitting on East Okoboji, but the bite slowed considerably with the nice weather. The water temp came back up and that doesn't help the bite in the fall. With the cooler temps in the forecast the bite should pickup soon. There are tons of small yellow bass to be caught on East O. Shucks jigger spoons tipped with a worm will catch these fish just about anywhere you drop it.

A lot of Perch being caught on the East side of the Lake. There are decent numbers of Bass being caught at night. Walleye fishing from the bridges has been pretty successful as well.
