The trout action has been slow this past week with the wind and wild weather, but the warming days and county and DFW plants this week, the bite should kick back into gear by the weekend. Steven Hill, Barstow, landed three rainbows during the slow down and his best was a four-pounder. He was fishing chartreuse PowerBait. There have also been a few catfish starting to be caught.
