Fishing was slower this weekend at Centimudi Cove on Shasta Lake. Lures that were working the previous weekend failed to get much action. Not much luck was seen around me either. There was a noticable drop in temperature over the week and that may have made the fish a little more finicky.

2 fish caught | Lunker: 2lb Spotted Bass using a Berkley Rubber Worm
Me and my 4 year old boy went out from about 3PM to 5PM off the shore near Centimudi boat ramp. The lake was packed with boats launching and loading, and the shores were covered in fishermen. Could audibly hear other's success stories of 8-12 bass off live minnows. Others could be seen pulling in fish often off of Carolina rigged 4" worms. Although we were not as lucky as some others appeared, we had luck netting two keepers using 4" Zoom Dead Ringers on 1/4 oz darter head hooks. Looking forward to spending some more time on the lake with the bite picking up so well.
