ARROWHEAD: Water off color; 45–52 degrees; 19.42’ low. One ramp open and few anglers have been on the lake.

ATHENS: Water clear; 48–52 degrees; 1.60’ low. Black bass are fair on lipless crankbaits and suspending jerkbaits in shad patterns. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are slow on trotlines and cut shad.

BASTROP: Water stained; 63–67 degrees. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat–L–Traps. Crappie are good on live minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on hot dogs, nightcrawlers, and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

AMISTAD: Water murky; 64–68 degrees; 29.99’ low. Black bass are fair on topwaters, frogs, crankbaits, and soft plastics. Striped bass are good on slabs, spoons, and small crankbaits. White bass are good on slabs, spoons, and small crankbaits. Catfish are fair on liver, shrimp, and nightcrawlers over baited holes. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.
