Water temperatures have cooled a bit but the trout bite is still slow. The best action is before 10 a.m. and the fish being landed are showing on PowerBait in salmon peach, spring green and garlic, nightcrawlers, or small jigs. The bass bite is good, and the catfish are fair to good. Bluegill continue to show in fair numbers and some are nice fish to a pound. Temperatures have cooled a bit but the trout bite is still slow. Best bite is before 10am. Anglers used Power Bait (especially salmon peach, spring green and garlic), night crawlers, jigs and lures to get trout on line. Hot spots included the western shore and the grassy point of lake 3. Bass bite is good with anglers reporting best action on the western and south eastern shores of lake 2. Catfish are biting on mackerel, night crawlers and shrimp from the western and northern shore of lake 2 and the western shore of lake 3.. the . Bluegill are biting small jigs and meal worms with fish averaging a pound. Catches of the Week: Eduardo Gomez of Hacienda Heights caught his 16 Lbs catfish on a night crawler from the north shore of lake 2.
