The trout bite is fair to good with anglers using Power Bait (especially salmon peach, rainbow and spring green), night crawlers, jigs and lures to get fish on line. Bite is best before 10am. Hot spots included the eastern shore and the grassy point of lake 3 as well as the western and northern shores of lake 2. Catch of the Week:Daniel Chapman of Upland used a lure to score an 8.75 rainbow while fishing the north shore of lake 2. Jimmy Bon of Green Valley scored an 8.6 rainbow on a perch jig while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3.

Eduardo Gomez of Hacienda Heights caught his 16 Lbs catfish on a night crawler from the north shore of lake 2. Whittier angler, Gene Naka, scored a 4 Lbs 12 Ozs rainbow on a Power Bait fly near the pump house on lake 3. Ten year old angler, Joshua Edward of Rancho Cucamonga, reeled in a 3 Lbs 4 ozs rainbow using an orange Power Worm from the eastern logged shore of lake 3. Five year old Hesperia angler, Jackson Mills, caught a 5 Lbs 8 ozs trout on an night crawler while fishing the eastern shore of lake 2 with his younger brother Nathan and dad Tim. Manny Estrada of Adelanto, caught his 4 Lbs 4 ozs trout on rainbow Power Bait while fishing the north shore of lake 2. Jacob Lawler caught his 6.7 Lbs catfish from the western shore of lake 2 while fishing with his dad. Eleven year old San Bernardino angler, Luke Wolbert, reeled in a 7.5 Lbs rainbow on salmon peach Power Bait from the north shore of Lake 2. Hesperia angler, Ryan Blackburn, scored a 10.7 Lbs rainbow on a night crawler while fishing the eastern shore of lake 2. Jacob Lawler of Apple Valley reeled in a 13.12 Lbs Catfish on mackerel from the western shore of lake3. Armando Acevedo of Chino reeled in a 6.34 Lbs rainbow on a Trout Teaser from the grassy point of lake 3. Tim Mills of Hesperia caught his 5.12 Lbs trout on a night crawler while fishing the eastern shore of lake 2 with his sons Jackson and Nathan. Hesperia angler, Dan Colantuono, scored a 7 Lbs 10 ozs rainbow on salmon peach Power Bait while fishing the western shore of lake 3. Brian Pettyfer of Apple Valley caught his 6 Lbs 2 Ozs rainbow on a night crawler while fishing the southwestern shore of lake 2. La Mirada angler, Henry Gehl reeled in a 3 Lbs 3 ozs trout on a salmon peach Power Bait while fishing the western shore of Lake 3 with his son Michael.
