Black bass fishing is slowly improving. Most are drop-shotting with Senkos (black and blue or green pumpkin). Some get fish with jigs. Striper bite is slow. Those who are succeeded use swim baits. Some employ Rat-l-Traps. Hook, Line  Sinker (925) 625-2441

A tournament on Sunday was won with a 28 pound bag. Drop-shotting was the best method. There’s a rip bait bite, too. Stripers were taking swim bait and River 2 Sea Whopper Ploppers. Dirty water should arrive mid-week. Hook, Line & Sinker (925) 625-2441

Striper are all over Frank’s Tract. Live minnows or top water lures offered in the early morning get action. Black bass bite is fair. Best bet is to work very slowly. Hook, Line & Sinker (925) 625-2441
