Fishing has been really good. Fall fishing has started and we just got a nice cold front. Lots of bait coming through and we have fish chasing them up and down the beach. Blues and spanish mackerel are being caught with jigs along reefs and wrecks. Red and Black drums are being caught with gulp shrimp. Speckled trout are also showing up. Flounder are being caught with jigs.

Jigging for Flounder, Grouper and Black Sea Bass continues to be top choice for our fishing charters.  King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel have not shown up in good numbers yet due to lack of top water bait.  Check out our pictures and see recent catches.  Fishing have been consistently good.  We caught a Citation Flounder today.

Sorry we haven't reported in a while.  We have been through small craft advisories and Tropical Storm Beryl.  The seas have finally calmed and we got a few days of fishing in. Black Sea Bass opened June 1st and as you can see from the pictures we know where they are.  We are looking forward to calm seas and good fishing.  Call and book your charter today - 910-538-2749...

We have been under a small craft advisary since Friday the 25th and have not been able to get out of the inlet. TS Beryl will be out of here after tomorrow and we will be fishing again on Thursday. June is one of our best fishing months so check back and we will have some good reports coming soon.

Remember, fishing is good for your sex life so get out there.

The Flounder bite continues to be consistent and our main target for near shore charters. We have been jigging with 2 oz. Jig heads tipped with 3 or 4 inch Gulp Shrimp. We have been catching and releasing many  Black Sea Bass throughout the spring and are looking forward to the June 1st openning season. The Cobia have been sporadic due to the lack of bait balls along the beach however, there have been a few landed by spot casting with a little more luck putting live bait on the bottom around the inlets.  As the water temps. continue to warm and the bait fills in, I anticipate the live bait fishing for Spanish and King Mackerel will be taking over in the upcoming weeks. The first two weeks in June should be wide open with Kings and Spanish on live bait. Feel free to give us a call or check out our website for up to date photos of recent fishing trips.

Near shore Ocean charter Jigging for Flounder. The Flounder bite has turned on and will continue to get better as the bait fills in. We are fishing around structures within ten miles of the inlet which gives you more fishing and less boat riding. We will continue catching flounder thru the summer months and will start to slow down around November. Check out our website photos and feel free to email or call if you have any questions.

Take a break and go fishing!

Captain Roy
