Returned to Christmas Bay on Sunday. Wind was up and the current was running hard. The water was muddy. There was still bait activity on the reef. Lots of other kayakers out on Sunday. Not much activity. No fish caught.

Fished Christmas Bay by Kayak. As usual, there was bait activity all over near Arcadia Reef. Fished a couple of reefs with no results. Finally found a spot with deeper water near a break in the reefs. The wind was pushing the water into the bank. I positioned myself directly across from the cut and cast into the wind right at the drop off. Every cast with live bait was a strike. Ended the day with five keeper trout by 9:30am. Caught and released for another hour. Also caught several rat reds and puppy drum as well as a huge lady fish. Best day on Christmas Bay yet.
