Big game fishing tournaments are often known for their head-turning catches, and this one was enough to gather quite the crowd at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on Saturday, June 23.

While competing in the Emerald Coast Blue MarlinClassic near Destin, Florida, the anglers aboard Done Deal had a spectacular tournament, and landed this 783.6-pound blue marlin. The monsterbillfish, landed by Travis Dorland of Mobile, Alabama, set the tournament record. Shockingly, this is about half the size of the IGFA all-tackle record, a 1402-pounder landed in 1992.

And while the boat lived up to their name, clinching the marlin division with that catch, as they also won the dolphin division and placed in the tuna division. The wins brought them hundreds of thousands of dollars in winnings.
